Raise Your Bed to the Top Loft Position and Still Reach Personal Items
With Dorm Wise Cubby Extenders, if you raise your bed to the top few loft positions, the Cubby will raise with it. This allows you to still access your personal items from the bed while providing more space underneath. Can I reserve a cubby without knowing my dorm assignment?
Yes, select "TBD" when ordering. See the next question for providing us with this information.
How do I update my dorm assignment after I've placed my order?
As soon as you receive it, email us at hello@dormwise.net with your dorm assignment (please add the student’s Name, Building and Room #).
Can I charge items in the cubby?
The cubby comes with two cutouts that have covers to allow access to charging cables. Depending on your charging needs, you might only utilize one of these cut outs.
Does a charging station fit in that cutout?
Yes, here is a picture of the charging station the students used last year along with the link from Amazon.
When will my cubby be delivered?
Cubbies are delivered to UNCW prior to student move-in days.
What happens at the end of the academic year?
We handle the pick-up of your cubby directly from your dorm. UNCW will assign us a pick up day. (After student move-out week.)
Is any assembly required?
No assembly required. It is simply placed in between the wall and your bed. Your cubby arrives ready to use. The cubby does not attach to the wall; it stands independently between the bed and the wall.
What payment methods are accepted?
All major credit cards.
How high can I loft my bed with the cubby?
The dressers under UNCW beds are typically 29”-30” tall. The cubby accommodates lofting heights from just above the dresser to approximately 12” above it (about four lofting positions). If you plan to loft your bed higher, select the cubby extenders option at checkout.
