Rental Agreement Policy

This Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the terms and conditions between DORM WISE LLC (“Owner”) and the individual or entity (“Renter”) renting equipment or property from the Owner. By entering into this Agreement, the Renter agrees to adhere to the following policies:

1. Rental Term

Full Year (Fall 2025-Spring 2026) rental period begins on August 15, 2025 and ends on May 7, 2026.

Fall Semester 2025 rental period begins on August 15, 2025 and ends on December 11, 2025.

Spring Semester 2026 rental period begins on January 7, 2026 and ends on May 7, 2026.

2. Payment

The Renter agrees to pay the rental fees plus any applicable taxes. Rental Fees for the Full Year rental are $370 plus applicable taxes. Rental Fees for either the Fall 2025 Semester or Spring 2026 Semester are $200 plus applicable taxes. Payment is due in full at the time of rental order.

3. Use of Rented Items

Renter agrees to use the rented items responsibly and strictly for their intended purposes. Although the Dorm Bed Cubby stands freely, it needs to be placed (and remain for the entire length of contract period) in between the wall and the dorm bed for support. Any misuse resulting in damage or loss will be the responsibility of the Renter.

4. Maintenance and Repairs

The Renter must immediately notify the Owner of any necessary repairs or issues during the rental period. Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the responsibility of the Owner. Repairs due to negligence or improper use are the responsibility of the Renter.

5. Liability

The Owner is not responsible for any injury or damage resulting from the use of the rented items. The Renter assumes all liability and responsibility for any damage, loss, or injury that occurs during the rental period.

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 10 days prior to the rental period for a full refund. Late cancellations will result in a fee of $75.

7. Return of Items

All rented items must be returned in the same condition as provided, clean and undamaged, at the end of the rental period. It is the responsibility of the Renter to contact the Owner via email, hello@dormwise.net, by April 10, 2026, to set up a day/time to pick up the cubby. Pick-ups will occur during UNCW move out week. If renting only for the Fall Semester, Renter is to contact Owner by December 1, 2025 to set up a day/time to pick up the cubby.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA. Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be settled according to these laws.

9. Agreement

By completing the rental process, the Renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the terms outlined in this Rental Agreement Policy.
